HIGHWAY NEUTRALIZER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2230602 C1

FIELD: purification of highway gas exhausts.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a highway neutralizer and is dealt with the field of purification of highway gas exhausts. Neutralizer contains a metal cylinder, gauzes, catalysts on the surface of a ceramic carrying agent and a catalyst on the surface of the metal carrying agent. At that the catalysts on the surface of the ceramic carrying agent encased in the vanes of a dielectric carrying agent-turbulence promoter and are linked each of them through a ballast resistance with the source of power supply of Darye's wind electric power plant, interact by an electric discharge with the catalyst alloyed in the cooled metal carrying agent, with a surface located in immediate proximity from the surface of the dielectric carrying agent- turbulence promoter. At that the catalysts are located in the metal cylinder along the gas stream. The source of power supply of Darye's wind electric power plant is fixed on the metal cylinder and the metal cylinder is mounted on the separating strip of a highway carriageway in the ligting poles supports. As a catalyst on the surface of the metal carrying agent is used palladium Accelerators on a surface of the ceramic carrying agent is platinum. The interacting catalysts are platinum and rhodium, platinum and ruthenium, platinum and vanadium, platinum and copper. The invention allows to increase efficiency of neutralization of harmful ingredients and utilization of solid shots of waste exhaust gases.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of neutralization of harmful ingredients and utilization of solid shots of waste exhaust gases.
