FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of refractory, impact-resistant composite materials with intermetallic matrix used in aircraft and aerospace engineering, ship building and other industries. Pack of foil layers from one or several metals is stacked, metals being selected from the group comprising Ti, Ni, V, Fe or their alloys. Coat of Al powder or its alloy is preliminary applied on top and bottom sides of every foil layer by mans of cold gas dynamic spraying, and said pack is pressed at temperature and pressure required to produce intermetallic compound.
EFFECT: high yield of good material with minimum fabrication interval.
