FIELD: electrical engineering, specifically, technology of impregnation and drying of electrical engineering articles, such as rotors, stators of electric motors, transformers, magnetic circuits.
SUBSTANCE: article is heated in vacuum in apparatus insulated from atmosphere. Processes of heating, outgassing, polymerization, impregnation, curing and drying are carried out in vacuum. Vacuum treatment is realized in cycles, by steps with the use of fast-acting valves and receiver which design pressure is so set that it provides in each cycle in apparatus pressure less than equilibrium pressure of vapors of solvent at specified temperature.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of output products, diminished capital outlays for manufacture of special equipment, decreased explosion and fire risks, wide application in manufacture of electrical engineering articles.
