FIELD: mechanical engineering; piston internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: proposed internal combustion engine consists of two-cylinder block. One cylinder has piston and cover and other cylinder designed for compressing fuel mixture has piston and spring-loaded valve to supply fuel mixture through bypass channel into combustion chamber of first cylinder. Length of piston working stroke is greater than or is equal to distance from piston crown in bottom dead center to upper edge of cylinder. Both pistons are mechanically coupled with crankshaft. Cylinder communicates with fuel mixture preparation device being connected with fuel supply device.

EFFECT: reduced fuel consumption, simplified design, possibility of operation on fuels of different kings.
