FIELD: drilling equipment, in particular, components of drilling sampler for drilling of thick mountain glaciers, as well as for opening and sampling of basins arranged under glacier.
SUBSTANCE: flame crown unit has supporting crown fixed on lower end of sampler casing and equipped with flame needle connected with contact sensor-sampler switch, bar and flame needle melting head. Flame crown is provided with sleeve spring-loaded relative to flame needle bar. Melting head is rigidly secured at lower end of sleeve positioned for sliding along flame needle bar. Diameter of melting head is greater than that of sleeve. Sampler with flame crown of such construction allows basins to be prevented from contamination.
EFFECT: increased stability of melting drilling process, enhanced reliability in operation of flame crown and increased environment control.
