FIELD: building, namely exploitation and restoration of pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: sealing device includes elastic envelope rectangular in development and having mutually joined flat upper and lower surfaces. On one end edge of envelope union is mounted for filling envelope and for discharging gaseous fluid from it. Elastic envelope is made with possibility of spreading inside pipeline after feeding into it pressurized gas fluid. Envelope is usually prepared for placing inside pipeline by multiple bending of its rectangular upper and lower surfaces along width. Surfaces of envelope are formed of webs of polymeric reinforced material. When compressed gas is supplied to envelope it spreads and expands for forming cylindrical envelope with sealing bands; it closely adjoins to inner surface of pipeline closing feed of pumped product to zone of restoration works.
EFFECT: enhanced safety of carrying out restoration works.
