SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel 4-substituted piperidines of the general formula (I)
wherein R1 and R2 represent substituted or unsubstituted aryl radicals that are prepared as racemic mixtures or pure enantiomers. These compounds and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts inhibit reuptake of serotonin and/or noradrenaline and useful as antidepressants. These compounds can be used for therapeutic application in treatment of nervous bulimia, obsessive-compulsive disorders (obsessive states), alcoholic dependence, anxiety states, panic, pain, premenstrual syndrome and sociophobia and for migraine prophylaxis.
EFFECT: improved treatment method, valuable medicinal properties of compounds.
