FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of production of ore-coal pellets and is dealt with the field of iron and steel industry. The method provides for delivery of a wet ore-coal charge onto a plate of a pelletizer, pelletizing of a charge with formation of descending and upward going layers of pellets. The wet ore-coal charge is delivered in an idle zone of the plate. The pellets are additionally treated with the wet ore-coal charge containing 2-14 % of coal, introduced in a jet of a compressed gas and directed to the descending layer of pellets with spraying of the ore-coal charge on their surface. At that consumption of the sprayed charge makes 10-35 % of the consumption of the whole charge. The invention will allow to increase productivity of a method and to expand its technological capabilities.
