FIELD: oil extractive industry.

SUBSTANCE: every nipple of pumping bar is made of two members, first portion is connected to the rod by means of cross-shaped fixing member which has four identical wedges made with possibility of filling of empty spaces in the rod which form during its fixing, by means of connecting of wedges surfaces by adhesive to inner conical surface of first member, and to surfaces of slits in rod after its fixing, length of wedge being equal to length of inner conical surface of first member, and generating lines of wedges surfaces which are made with capability for engaging inner conical surface of first member and wedges surface, which are made with capability for engagement with the rod and are parallel to surfaces of slits after fixing of rod, and maximum width of each wedge is no more than 25%-30% of difference between length of inner circle with maximum diameter in conical aperture of first member and length of rod circle, and maximum depth of cross-shaped fixing member is less than maximum inner diameter in conical aperture of first member, and it has metallic bushing with thread on its inner surface for connection to second member and length of this thread is no less than length of inner conical surface of bushing, second member of nipple on one side is made with outer engaging thread, and on other side it has dead-end aperture with inner thread for connection to first member, and length of this thread is no less than length of thread on first member, and depth of dead-end aperture is greater than length of thread on first member, and first and second members are screwed into one another with use of adhesive forming solid connection, and outer surface of rod is protected by wear-resistant material, which covers no less than 70% of area of outer surface of rod.
