SUBSTANCE: invention claims substance of polysaccharide class that can be used as a medicinal agent for activation of regenerative-reparative process in digestive tract mucosa. Invention describes a method for preparing a substance from vegetable cells, for example, from potato germs. A substance represents polysaccharide chain consisting of the following components, wt.-%: sugar residues, 30.3-71; arabinose, 9.7-23.5; galactose, 23.3-37.5; uronic acids, 2.3-9.7, and protein, 9%, not less. The substance is non-toxic and shows protective and therapeutic effect on regeneration of gastroenteric tract mucosa in inflammatory and ulcerous diseases.
