SUBSTANCE: using for control of load-bearing elements of structures. Invention gist is that a multi-channel acoustic-emission system for monitoring the load-bearing elements consists of N-channels, each of which contains a series-connected acoustical emission transducer mounted on the monitoring site at the places of maximum stress concentration, analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a unit for calculating known acoustic-emission criteria, as well as an information display device, each of the channels additionally includes a unit for calculating the time invariants of the acoustic emission pulses and two blocks for calculating the invariants of the number of pulses of acoustic emission, whose inputs are combined with the input of the calculating unit for known acoustic emission criteria, and the outputs are connected to the corresponding inputs of the information display device.

EFFECT: increased reliability of acoustic emission control and assessing the degree of defects danger regardless of the amplitude and intensity of acoustic emission signals, mechanical noise, exploitation history, material, size and shape of controlled structures.
