FIELD: production of wiping sheets for removal of dust and/or soil from floor or wall surface.
SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding continuous basic sheet and continuous fiber yarn adapted for elongate filaments in first direction; fibrillating yarn for distributing over surface in range narrower than width of basic sheet; arranging yarn over surface of basic sheet, with bordering side edge zones of basic sheet opposite to transverse direction remaining uncovered during feeding of fibrillated yarn; continuously feeding pair of narrow heat-sealable synthetic polymer sheets, each being made in the form of tape, along boundary side edge zones of basic sheet for covering thereof and for covering side edge zones of fibrillated yarn to form plurality of heat-sealed fibrillated yarn and basic sheet joints extending transverse to first direction and periodically arranged in first direction; providing formation of heat-sealed joints of narrow sheets, each made in the form of tape, with basic sheet along side edge zones or before performing heat-sealing joining of fibrillated yarn with basic sheet.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of wiping material.
