FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separator designed for cleaning liquids from suspended hard and liquid particles. Proposed separator contains centrifugal rotor made for rotation around vertical axle, drive and tubular inlet member connected with centrifugal rotor and made for lowering down from rotor into liquid. Separator is furnished with stationary wall which encloses at least part of rotating inlet member in liquid volume, and sealing device designed for sealing clearance between stationary wall and rotating inlet member.
EFFECT: brought to minimum size of surface f rotating inlet member in contact with liquid to be cleaned, prevention of liquid getting upwards from outer side of inlet member.
