FIELD: equipment for separation of multi-component liquid under action of centrifugal force. SUBSTANCE: outlet unit includes outlet member 29 located in chamber 16 of rotor 1 of centrifugal separator mounted for rotation around axis 12. Outlet unit is located for turn around axis 26 during operation of centrifugal rotor in such way that it is located in portion of chamber 16 which is free from liquid and inlet into liquid layer through free surface. Outlet member has outlet passage with inlet hole 30. Section of free surface of liquid layer where outlet member 29 enters is located point of intersection of straight line extension passing from axis 12 of rotation of centrifugal rotor through axis 26 of turn with free surface of liquid layer. Outlet unit is provided with actuating device 31 used for setting outlet member 29 in motion under action of control force formed during its around axis 26 in way from axis 12 in such way that outlet member with outlet hole 30 is held at least partially in layer of liquid at change of position of free surface of liquid.
