FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a centrifugal separator and a separation of particles from a gas flow. Separator comprises frame (2), inlet hole (3) for gas and outlet hole (4) for gas. Centrifugal rotor (5) is arranged in the frame with the possibility of rotation around rotation axis (x) and includes multiple separating plates (6) forming separation channels (7) between the plates. Central gas chamber (8) in the rotor is connected with radially internal part of the separation channels and the outlet hole for gas. Space (9) surrounding the rotor is connected with radially external part of the separation channels and the inlet hole for gas. Device (10) is designed to rotate the gas flow upstream of the rotor. Centrifugal rotor has such a configuration that rotating gas mixture flow rotates the centrifugal rotor to separate particles from the same gas flow passed from the space surrounding the rotor through the separation channels between the plates to the central gas chamber.
EFFECT: invention provides simplified design and operation of the centrifugal separator.
