SUBSTANCE: guarding system has inner holder into which syringe is to be inserted, outer guarding member arranged outside inner holder and adapted for axial displacement between retracted and extended position, spring arranged between inner holder and outer guarding member and adapted for urging outer guarding member to extended position. Inner holder has at least one first stopping member engageable with first opening, when outer guarding member is in retracted position, and latch arranged inside inner holder and axially movable relative to inner holder. Latch may be brought into contact with first stopping member, when the latter is engaged with first opening, and disengaged from said opening.

EFFECT: simplified and compact construction and increased efficiency.
