FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to autoinjector for drug administration and method of operation with it. Autoinjector comprises tubular frame, containing syringe with a hollow needle and plug for sealing of syringe and movement of medicinal agent, drive spring adjustment spring, and actuator. Frame has distal end and proximal end with opening designed to apply close to point of injection, where syringe slides relative to frame. Spring drive may actuate syringe for drug dose delivery. Adjusting spring can push needle from closed position inside frame to extended position through opening and proximal end for inserting needle, and moving frame above needle after, at least, partial drug delivery. Actuator blocks drive and control spring compressed before operation in manual mode and during operation in manual mode releases control and/or drive spring for injection, where subunit holder containing tubular holder is located in frame with possibility of sliding. At that, holder comprises syringe, drive spring and piston for load transfer to drive spring plug. Syringe is blocked for joint longitudinal movement with holder. Adjusting spring can be connected with holder by means of first lock means for inserting needle, and actuator comprises second means to lock with release spring drive, when holder, at least almost reaching depth of injection. Adjusting spring represents single spring, and first lock means are made with possibility of disconnection of adjustment spring from holder and coupling with frame to move it above needle in safe position for needle.

EFFECT: introduction of medicinal agent.
