FIELD: drying processes and equipment, possibly for drying different types of loose materials, for example for preparing cooked-dried cereals and vegetables.

SUBSTANCE: drying apparatus includes housing with charging hopper and with discharging device; flexible perforated belt; chain conveyer; drive unit. Novelty is chains secured to flexible perforated belt. Said chains are moved by means of synchronously rotating sprockets which are arranged alternatively over and under belt and placed in grooved guides. The last are provided with unit for regulating their inclination angle.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of drying process due to using combined hydrodynamic modes of treating products.
