SUBSTANCE: in the dryer, comprising a sectioned body, with a conveyor arranged inside and having a flexible perforated tape, a mechanism of travelling wave formation, devices to supply and drain coolant, a loading device and an unloading tray. The mechanism of the travelling wave formation consists of two serially installed and multi-alternating devices: the first device is an axis, at the ends of which there are sliders fixed and installed in channel-like guides with the possibility of reciprocal movement in the horizontal plane as a result of pneumatic cylinders to adjust the pitch of the travelling wave of the flexible perforated tape, on the axis there are bearings, which contact the lower surface of the flexible perforated tape, the second device is a frame with four vertical pins, at the lower ends of which there are rigidly fixed gears, onto which a geared belt is placed, which contacts with its outer side with a screw shank, two beams are pairwise arranged on the pins, at the inner side of which there are sprockets installed coaxially, which contact with the conveyor chain, therefore, the second device may move in the vertical plane to adjust the travelling wave amplitude of the flexible perforated tape, besides, the device for coolant supply into the first section is connected by means of the recirculating pipeline with the device for draining spent coolant from the last section.

EFFECT: increased operational reliability of the perforated tape, universal design of the dryer and its adaptation for drying of various products, which differ in physical-mechanical properties, reduction of high power inputs for realisation of the constant mechanical mixing.
