FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for measuring flow parameters. Using one excitation device two transducers arranged in pipeline are excited. Then ultrasonic signals received by each transducer from other transducer are measured simultaneously. Received signals are synchronously converted into digital form for calculating in microprocessor difference in time of passing of ultrasonic signals between two transducers in forward backward directions. Function of cross correlation of transducer signals is found at calculation.
EFFECT: possibility of measuring flow parameters at high accuracy in real time, reduced number of transducers.
