SUBSTANCE: detector in connection to servo-system continuously reads data of linear position, by which code servo-row is modulated. Interpolator interpolates previously recorded combination data. Detector and interpolator form information about combining linear position for data sets. Logical circuit connected to driving device, detector and interpolator, in response to stopping of driving device, reversed transport and restarting of continuous carrier movement forms chosen read and interpolated information about combination. Comparator in connection to detector, interpolator and logical circuit, in response to restarting of continuous carrier movement by driving device compares read and interpolated information about combining linear position with formed read and interpolated information and generates matching messages. Data formatter in connection to comparator in response to message about match of both information types during comparison synchronizes reading of data sets from recording medium and/or its recording onto recording medium.
EFFECT: excluded precision incrementing encoders, providing for lower costs of device.
