FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out ultrasonic douplex scanning with color mapping of blood circulation paths in sitting position of patient with the chin pressed against chest. Ultrasonic transducer is set on patient skin between posterior surface of the sternocleidomastoid muscle and spinous process of the first cervical vertebra immediately below the lower boundary of the occipital bone. Scanning plane is set in perpendicular to the longitudinal vertebral column axis.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of blood circulation examination.
