FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: zone of a pipeline to be strengthened receives the expandable bushing made of a spiral metal belt provided with spiral band impregnated with a polymeric binder. The two-layered belt is preliminary heated up to the required temperature. The metallic two-layer belt cools inside the pipeline, expands and presses the band to the inner side of the pipeline part to be strengthened.

EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities.
