SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a new pigment for fodders for salmon fishes, to new fodder containing this pigment and to using this pigment. Pigment comprises astaxanthin diester prepared with using saturated omega-3-acid and/or carboxylic acid with short chain. Invention proposes pigment for fodders of salmon fishes that exhibits more stability, enhanced biological effectiveness as compared with free astaxanthin and commercial available astaxanthin products.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of pigment.
