SUBSTANCE: apparatus has cyclone-type vacuum cleaner casing with cavity adapted to receive dust catcher for collecting of various foreign particles separated from air and fixing device allowing dust catcher to be selectively moved up and down inside cavity for mounting of dust catcher into cavity or withdrawal thereof from cavity. Fixing device has at least one protrusion on cavity bottom, said protrusion being inclined in joining direction, and at least one slot on dust catcher bottom for receiving of protrusion, said slot being inclined in direction opposite to that of protrusion. Dust catcher is adapted for moving up and down inside cavity upon rotation thereof for fixing inside said cavity or withdrawing therefrom. Other version has fixing device equipped with movable part adapted for moving up and down inside cavity, at least one protrusion arranged on cavity bottom and inclined in joining direction, and at least one slot arranged on bottom of movable part and adapted for receiving of protrusion, said slot being inclined in direction opposite to direction of inclination of protrusion. Movable part and dust catcher are movable up and down inside cavity upon rotation of movable part for fixing or withdrawal of dust catcher. Another version has fixing device with at least one protrusion made on cavity bottom and inclined in direction coinciding with direction of insertion of dust catcher into cavity, and opposite protrusions arranged on dust catcher bottom and adapted for guiding of protrusion on cavity bottom. Such construction allows foreign particles to be prevented from spreading aside during withdrawal of dust catcher from vacuum cleaner casing.

EFFECT: increased volume of dust collected by dust catcher, provision for smooth withdrawal of dust catcher from or introduction into vacuum cleaner cavity and simplified construction.
