METHOD FOR OBTAINING BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE LIPOPHILIC AND HYDROPHILIC FRACTIONS OF PORCINE PLACENTA Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

SUBSTANCE: placenta should be washed out, fragmented, frozen with liquid nitrogen vapors up to -80 C - 120 C; reduction should be carried out in cryo-mill at cooling with liquid nitrogen vapors up to -80 C - 120 C to particles size being 20-30 mcm; obtained powder should be lyophilized at -10 C - 20 C to particles size being 20-30 mcm and at the pressure of not above 0.1 mm mercury column, lipophilic fraction should be extracted with the help of refrigerant solvents under pressure of 6-8 atm. and at 30-35 C, and hydrophilic fraction is obtained should be obtained due to extracting with isotonic aqueous solution of sodium chloride at 25-30 C for 3-4 h. The method provides division of porcine placental fractions by keeping their native structure and decreasing foreign admixtures and, also, maximum output of biologically active substances and their enhanced specific biological activity.
