FIELD: physicochemical procedures.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of natural extracts and can be used in food and other industries. Starting material is first saturated with water under effect of electric current with elevated frequency, between 9 and 20 kHz, over a period of 1 to 3 min. Water-saturated material is then placed in liquid with high dielectric properties and affected by microwave energy with power stream density at least 100 mW/cm3 to raise liquid temperature to 55оС. Further, resulting extract is forced to cool to 25оС. Heating and cooling cycles are repeated many times for a period of 2 to 4 h.
EFFECT: increased extraction completeness and maximally preserved biological value of extracted useful substances.
