SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, namely to a method for production of an extract of vegetal raw materials selected from oregano herb and black currant leaves. Disclosed is a method for producing an extract from a vegetable raw material selected from oregano herb and black currant leaves, involves grinding vegetable raw material, saturation of crushed vegetal raw materials with water, treatment of crushed vegetal raw materials saturated with water by means of microwave action and separation of the extract, differs by the fact that for grinding vegetal raw materials with moisture content of 10–15% are taken, the vegetal raw materials are ground to particle size of 0.10–0.20 mm, saturation of crushed vegetal raw materials is carried out with water with temperature of 35–40 °C at a ratio of vegetable raw material to water from 1:10 to 1:12 and constant stirring for 7–10 minutes, treatment of water-saturated crushed vegetal raw materials by microwave exposure is carried out in a microwave electromagnetic field with frequency of 2,450 MHz at a heating rate of 0.3–0.5 °C/s to temperature of 60 °C, and separation of the extract is carried out by vacuum filtration.

EFFECT: said invention is an effective method of producing an extract and provides higher degree of extraction of P-active substances from plant material into an extract.
