FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: tungsten-tin concentrate is first subjected to reductive firing and electrolytic recovery of tin from reduced concentrate. Resulting solid residue is then caked with soda to give cake, which is subjected to water leaching and precipitation of calcium tungstenate. Method allows obtaining metallic tin and calcium tungstenate from tungsten-tin concentrates with yields 95-97%.
EFFECT: enabled selective recovery of tin and its compounds.
