FIELD: electrodeposition, in particular nickel-iron-based allow plating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolyte useful for decoration and corrosion protection of steel articles, and rebuilding of worn-up parts. Claimed electrolyte contains nickel sulfate 230-250 g, nickel chloride 33-43 g, iron sulfate 70-90 g, boric acid 30-50 g, acidic chromium dark-blue 0,1-5 mmol/l, and water up to 1 l. Present invention makes it possible to obtain high quality electroplated coating with fine-crystalline structure, improved density, smoothness, uniformity, well adherence with base, without pitting and filamentary dendritic crystals, and essentially without of steel base hydrogen charging.
EFFECT: electroplated coatings of high quality.
