SUBSTANCE: at diastole one should measure the diameter of aneurismal basis (D), its height (h), the length of left ventricle (L) and its diameter at the level of papillary muscles (DV). Then one should calculate absolute square of left ventricular aneurysm (Sa), the square of internal surface of left ventricle (Sv) and relative square of left ventricular aneurysm (S) should be calculated as Sa : Sv ratio, %. The method enables to detect certain indication for operative treatment.
