FIELD: powder metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of production of metals hydrides powder and is pertinent to powder metallurgy, in particular, to technologies of production of powders of metals by methods of comminution. The offered method of production of a metal hydride powder provides for a filling of milling bodies and a metal hydride into a grinding installation, conduct grinding and consequent separation of the produced particles of a powder by coarseness in the qualifier. According to the invention, they first make lining of effective surfaces of the grinding installation and the qualifier using a material having high solidity and resistance to impacts and attrition, and the milling bodies are made out of metal being milled and expose it to reinforcement. The method ensures improvement of quality of produced powder without foreign impurities added from the equipment material.

EFFECT: the invention ensures improvement of quality of produced powder without foreign impurities.
