SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new derivatives of imidazole of the formula (I):
wherein R1 represents phenyl or pyridinyl substituted with substituents taken among group comprising (1) phenyl, (2) furyl, thienyl, (3) halogen atom, (4) halogen-(lower)-alkyl, (5) lower alkylthio-group, (6) nitro-group, (7) lower alkenyl optionally substituted with phenyl, (8) lower alkynyl optionally substituted with phenyl, (9) lower alkoxy-group optionally substituted with cyclo-(lower)-alkyl or phenyl, (10) lower alkyl optionally substituted with phenoxy-group, or (11) amino-group optionally substituted with protected carboxyl; R2 represents lower alkyl; R3 represents halogen atom or lower alkyl; R4 represents (1) lower alkenyl optionally substituted with phenyl, (2) phenyl optionally substituted with lower alkyl or lower alkenyl, (3) lower alkyl or (4) thienyl optionally substituted with halogen atom; A represents lower alkylene; L represents a simple bond, lower alkenylene or lower alkylene optionally substituted with phenyl or pyridinyl, or -X-CH2- wherein X represents oxygen atom (O) or NR5 wherein R5 represents hydrogen atom or lower alkyl, and to their salts. Invention relates also to a method for preparing compounds of the formula (I) and a pharmaceutical composition and the preparation eliciting hypoglycemic activity based on these compounds. Invention provides preparing new compounds and pharmaceutical preparations based on thereof for aims for prophylaxis and/or treatment of disturbances associated with deterioration of tolerance to glucose, diabetes mellitus, diabetes in pregnants, diabetic complications, resistance syndrome to insulin, ovary polycystosis syndrome, hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis, cardiovascular diseases, hyperglycemia, pancreatitis, osteoporosis, hyperuricemia, hypertension, intestine inflammatory diseases, skin diseases associated with pathological differentiation of epidermal cells.
EFFECT: improved prophylaxis and treatment method, valuable medicinal properties of compounds and pharmaceutical composition.
