FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves reducing body weight on the background of limiting food allowance and administering manual massage treatment on patient body areas carrying fat deposits. Before applying massage, patient body surface under treatment is visually divided into equivalent portions like frontal anterofacial one, dorsal one including back, buttocks and right and left lateral portions. The lateral portions are visually restricted with a line passing along the torso through scapula angle on the back and with claviculomedian line or axillomedian line on the frontal surface. The manual massage treatment is applied in turn to all mentioned divisions returning to lateral portions each time after having treated frontal anterofacial or dorsal portion in applying manual massage as follows. Dorsal or frontal portion is treated in prone or supine patient body position, respectively. Next, one lateral portion is treated in lateral recumbent position and then, dorsal or frontal portion is treated in supine or prone patient body position, respectively. Further, the second lateral portion is treated in lateral recumbent position with a turn to do massage treatment on patient thigh. The next stage involves dividing thigh area into three zones like superior one in the inguinal zone, middle one and patellar one. Intensive massage treatment is applied to each of said zones beginning from the superior one in prone or supine patient body position followed by turning the patient assume lateral recumbent position and treating the lateral side. Then, the patient is turned to the side being opposite to one assumed at the beginning of the femoral portion treatment. The manual massage treatment is continued with following turn to lateral side and treating the last side. The superior zone treatment being over, the middle part treatment is started and then the inferior one is treated in a like way as it has been the case when treating the inferior femoral and torso zone. When done, lateral body portions are treated in the waist area and under iliac bone wings in the same manner as belly area is treated in the direction from posterior axillary line towards the inguinal lymph nodes. When treating the back, massage operator hands are clenched in fists and joined together with middle phalanges of hands building in this way action surface from proximal phalanges turned in perpendicular with respect to massage direction. They slide in exerting pressure of 5-10 kg in the direction from the waist towards one and then to the other scapula on the corresponding side. When treating the lateral part and thighs of patient body, massage operator hands are closely pressed at an angle against the patient body transversely to zones under treatment in forming treatment space between thumb on one side and four finger pressed against each other on the other side. The hand slides without separating from body surface in exerting pressure of 5-10 kg in the lymph nodes direction. When treating the lateral part, the hand moves towards the axillary area; when treating thighs, to inguinal zone. When treating belly and superior femoral zone as riding breeches zone and buttock zone, a hand or both hands of massage operator, depending on surface area under treatment, move skin and subcutaneous fat fold between palm base and fingers thrusting against surface under treatment. The fold is rolled under the palm towards the fingers until it escapes from caught zone. The movements are repeated in moving towards the inguinal lymph nodes zone. When treating superior femoral zone, pushing actions are applied by exerting pressure of 15-25 kg in pressing mode with joined hand palm bases on riding breeches zone and most prominent superior buttock zone part. When treating internal side of femoral portion, patient leg is bent in knee joint, hand slides along upward the internal side beginning from zone above the knee to the beginning of the upper one third of the femur towards inguinal area in repeating the above shown massage techniques used in treating thighs. When having finished massage treatment of thighs in supine position, massage movements causing liquid and metabolism products outflow to inguinal lymph nodes are applied. The action is divided into three stages: the first one is carried out in riding breeches zone by enveloping thigh with closed ring formed; then, the hands are transferred to the middle zone and next to it, below keeping to upward extruding direction, stopping the movement each time on the upper one-third of the femoral zone.
EFFECT: improved visually significant figure correction accompanied with body weight reduction.
