FIELD: rolled stock production, possibly in continuous wide strip cold rolling mills.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of determining in each interval between stands yield limit ςy of strip; keeping value ςt of specific tension by setting coefficient nς equal to relation ςt/ςy; performing rolling process at setting admissible value of coefficient nς = nςprel ≤ 0.25; increasing specific tension values in intervals between stands from first to last one by average value 1 - 2 kg/sq. mm; lowering reduction value after second stand by 1 - 5% in each stand until last one; setting bulges of rolling rolls in stands in range (-0.10) - (+0.25)mm.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of cold rolled strips.
