FIELD: manufacture of superconducting articles by means of energy of explosion matters, possibly in radio-electronic, electrical engineering industry branches for making sputtered targets used in condition of magnetron and laser sputtering, electrical machine parts and so on.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of charging powder of superconducting material into steel container with cylindrical inner cavity; after-pressing powder and sealing it by means of punch in the form of copper disc; placing prepared blank onto steel support mounted in sand ground and inclined relative to lengthwise axis of barrel of powder throwing apparatus by angle 78 -80°; assembling pack for explosion welding from cladding blank in the form of copper disc joined with damping gasket of high elastic material and steel screen; arranging pack onto steel container with welding gap equal to 0.75 - 1.25 of thickness of cladding blank; performing explosion welding by shock loading due to speeding up cylindrical striker of high elastic material by means of powder throwing apparatus for collision of striker with steel screen at rate 480 -620 m/s.
EFFECT: increased density of superconducting layer, enhanced reliability of contact of superconducting layer with metal embracing it.
