SUBSTANCE: pulverulent materials containing alkali and heavy metals, for example those originated from steel-smelting plants and blast furnace production, as well as ore fines are added onto or inside metal fusion containing liquid oxide slags, or under the surface of slag by blowing in with gas carrier jet. Heavy metal compounds, e.g. Zn and/or Pb oxides, entering gas phase are separated therefrom and incorporated into slags. Basicity of liquid slags are set at a level of 1-1.4.
EFFECT: enhanced treatment efficiency and enabled employment of slags thus obtained in manufacture of cement.
