FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed clamping unit includes two clamping jaws located opposite each other on opposite sides of part. Each clamping jaw has central part and two end parts projecting from central part; they are made integral with central part and are provided with through holes for coupling bolts. These bolts are used for placing the jaws in such position that their contact surfaces formed by said central parts adjoin the part at pressure. At least one of clamping jaws of central part has profiled contact surfaces on their opposite sides. One of jaws may be turned to shaped part by one of its sides.
EFFECT: extended field of application for various parts.
