METHOD OF OPTIMIZATION OF DESIGN USAGE OF DUCT WORKING SECTIONS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2240273 C2

FIELD: press-forging; electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: ducts are manufactured with different design shaped section. Housing of ducts are made with C-shaped trapezoidal projection from inner side and with symmetrically arranged radius roundings relative to said projection. Threaded member for fastening cover vertically is installed from inner side of said projection and is rigidly connected with its inner side. To increase rigidity of cover it is made of several sections with trapezoidal projection pointed inwards duct housing and with cross blind longitudinal projections and/or cavities. Sections of covers are connected by resistance welding and are braced with duct housing by nut. Holes are made on side walls of duct in pairs opposite to each other. Threaded members and self-locking connecting members are fitted in said holes. Dimensional characteristics of ducts divided by threaded element are verified to parameters A, Б, B, C. From opposite side of end face zone 24 of duct pairs of opposite holes are made, and flat 29 free from cover is formed. Simultaneously levels of surfaces 30 and 31 are displaced for interaction with carrying chute connected with ducts in plan are made rectilinear or curved in two ways or cross-like or T-shaped or in form of connecting duct 37 with rectangular flange with peripheral roundings and rectangular hole used for mounting and resistance welding of duct. To improve strength of duct, C-shaped sections of duct housing and cover are provided with intermediate L-shaped envelopes, and threaded fastening members are provided with elastic crown washers.

EFFECT: reduced time taken for designing and making of ducts of different shaped profile connected with carrying chutes for cables.
