FIELD: chemical industry, agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum facilities and it can be used in spheres when suction of air or gases is required. Proposed vacuum liquid-packed ring pump has cylindrical housing with working liquid installed for rotation, impeller eccentrically fitted in housing and fixed gas-distributing branch pipe divided into inlet and outlet channels. Rotary motion is conveyed through pulley to impeller containing hollow shaft with ports in each sector cell. Gas-distributing branch pipe is arranged inside hollow shaft. Working liquid seals clearances between impeller and gas-distributing branch pipe and conveys rotation if impeller to housing.
EFFECT: reduced inlet pressure, increased efficiency and economy in manufacture and operation owing to reduced power output of electric motor and overall dimensions and weight of bed frame.
