SUBSTANCE: rubber cord shell includes a number of layers and has connection pipe. Rubber cord shell comprises sealed cylindrical chamber and two end parts. Cord layers are formed of separate continuous strips with threads arranged in end parts thereof and extended in radial direction. Threads are bent in going from end parts to cylindrical part and are inclined to cylinder axis at an angle of not more than 30^o. Method of rubber cord production involves assembling two shell halves including cylindrical and end parts with the use of shoulder drums; connecting shell halves along cylindrical parts and curing thereof.
