FIELD: auxiliary devices of pipe lines; shutting-off oil pipe lines, water pipe lines and other pipe lines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed sealing device has inner chamber formed by cylindrical wall and two end-to-end walls engageable with first one; walls include inner sealing rubber envelope, outer covering rubber envelope and reinforcing framework located between them. Framework consists of layers of rubber-cord material reinforcing the cylindrical wall of chamber and separate radially directed and partially overlapped strips of rubber-cord material reinforcing the end-to-end walls of chamber. One end-to-end wall is provided with pipe union located along axis of chamber; this pipe union changes to circular disk inside chamber; it is connected with end-to-end wall through rubber interlayer. End sections of rubber-cord layers reinforcing the cylindrical wall of chamber are bent to rubber-cord strips located on end-to-end walls; they are partially overlapped on section by amount no less than 0.1 length of strip. Sections of strips overlapped by rubber-cord layers are shifted radially relative to one another by magnitude of h≥5d, where d is diameter of rubber-cord thread.
EFFECT: enhanced strength and durability of device in wide range of pipe diameters and pressures of compressed gas fed inside.
