FIELD: pipeline engineering.
SUBSTANCE: flexible shell comprises connecting pipe mounted on the other cylindrical part, hose connected with the connecting pipe, and corner connecting pipe connected with the other end of the hose. The corner connecting pipe is secured by means of a nut in the hollow provided in the wall of the pipeline. The face and one-third part of the flexible shell are coated with a noncombustible flexible composition. Subsequent to the setting the shell into the pipeline, the connecting pipe together with the flexible shell are rotated by 10-45° with respect to the corner connecting pipe secured to the wall of the pipeline.
EFFECT: enhanced safety.
