FIELD: agriculture, fat and oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves sampling sunflower seeds, measuring their temperature and placing the seed sample into transducer of impulse NMR-analyzer, measuring nuclear-magnetic relaxation indices of protons in sunflower seed oil and calculating weight average value of spin-spin relaxation time (T2CB). If value T2CB < 1.8 x t + 19 then seeds are related to highly oleic ones. Method provides reducing time required for identification and simplifying preparing samples.
EFFECT: improved identifying method.
