FIELD: microwave devices.

SUBSTANCE: proposed collector that can be used, for instance, in O-type traveling-wave tubes or klystrons where kinetic energy of spent electrons is recuperated has case, electrodes with asymmetric parts and insulators securing them to case made in the form of bushings or ceramic rods. At least one bushing fastening electrode to inclined input hole is provided with inclined butt-end facing this hole and aligned with the latter in position. When rods are used as insulators, those securing electrode to output inclined butt-end has its length comparable with that of electrode cylindrical surface abutting against rod. Rods can be made as integral parts or assembled in longitudinal direction.

EFFECT: improved heat dissipation ability at non-axisymmetrical deposition of electrons resulting in non-axisymmetric heat load.
