FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining oxygen saturation degree in arterial and venous blood with following oxygen utilization degree coefficient being calculated. Concurrent oxygen saturation value measurements in arterial and venous blood is carried out by applying reflective spectrophotometry techniques with catheters provided with fibrous optic gages being simultaneously introduced into femoral and pulmonary artery, respectively.
EFFECT: high diagnosis accuracy.
