FIELD: processes for restoring and strengthening worn parts with use of welding, mainly restoration of working organs of cultivating machines, particularly of cultivator foots.
SUBSTANCE: method for restoring cultivator foots of cultivating machines comprises steps of sharpening angular plate before welding; removing worn portion of part by means of grinding cut-off disc; making angular plate of low-carbon steel; before welding angular plate to restored part, strengthening angular part by electrolytic boronizing.
EFFECT: improved technical characteristics of part, especially its wear resistance.
