FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reconditioning and hardening worn-out parts of tillers. Proposed method comprises removing worn-out working part of cultivator hoe by cutting grinding wheel. Then, new working part is made from medium-carbon steel to make replaceable angle plate. Through long holes are made in said plate and sharpened to make a blade. Threaded holes are produced on reconditioned hoe for its attachment by screws. Said plate rear side is hardened in three layers. First and third layers are produced by spark application of wear resistant alloy. Second layer is produced by arc metallisation of wire.
EFFECT: higher surface quality.
