FIELD: performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to repair of worn-out parts with application of surfacing and can be used in reconditioning of working elements of tillage machines, mainly bits of subsoilers. In compliance with this method, worn-out cutting-edge part of the bit is removed, an overlay plate is made from leaf spring steel, it is welded to the reconditioned bit, and back side of the overlay plate is strengthened by means of hard-facing of wear-resistant material. Hardening is carried out on the working surface of the attachment plate by laser surfacing at laser radiation power of 2000 W, optical head movement speed of 5 mm/s, powder mass flow rate of 17 g/min, argon flow rate of 20 l/min, and the wear-resistant material used is a mixture of powders consisting of 43-48% of an iron base with particle size of 80 mcm, 50-55% of a hardening phase in the form of tungsten carbide with particle size of 15 mcm and 2% of aluminium oxide nanopowder Al2O3 with size particles of 70 nm.

EFFECT: increased hardness and wear resistance of reconditioned and hardened bits of tillage machines under conditions of intensive abrasive wear, at the same time wear and tear of the bit is increased by 40-50%, and service life is increased by 1.8-2.1 times.
