FIELD: measuring equipment, applicable in determination of the shell muzzle velocity at conducting of firing tests, as well as in measurement of the shell velocity in the point of flying of the shell over the system.
SUBSTANCE: the photoelectronic system has a photoelectronic unit with a photodetector enclosed in a casing, computer, supply and control unit. It is provided with a second photodetector enclosed in a casing and connected to the computer, flash transducer, controller and a bend provided with cone-shaped supports. The flash transducer is connected to the computer via the controller; the supply unit is connected to the flash transducer and controller. Both photodetectors are connected to the electronic computer via an analog-to-digital converter and located in the upper part of the casing in the same axial line at a preset distance from each other. The casing is made in the form of a welded parallelepiped provided with two cone-shaped supports on the end faces; the cone-shaped supports are made for adjustment in height, two rods are available on the end faces of the casing in one axial line for putting out the system in the barrel axis line. The bend is provided with a cylindrical hinge making it possible to turn the bend perpendicularly to the casing and fix it in this position; one of the photodetectors is fastened on a movable frame made for turning this photodetector relative to the other through an angle determined by the level gauge. Each frame is provided with a rectangular platform for installation of the level gauge used for alignment of the directivity pattern of both photodetectors. Each photodetector is made in a sealed casing with an inlet port; the inlet port of the photodetector is made at an angle of 45 deg. To the horizon and closed with glass clarified on two sides within a wide range. Each photodetector consists of a high-sensitive photodiode, covered with a diaphragm with a rectangular slot, with an optical wedge with blind for shut-off of the diaphragm slot, convex lens and a protective glass plate.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy, reliability and repetition of the results of measurements of the shell muzzle velocity.
